With eight of the worlds highest peaks, Nepal is loaded with spectacular mountains vistas. The name “Everest” is a magic in itself. EVEREST (8848m.) is called “SAGARMATHA” in Nepali-“Higher than the sky” and “CHHOMOLUNGMA” in Tibetan-“Mother Goddess of the Earth”. The quickest and easiest way to reach this region is by flight to Lukla at 2827m. The Solu-Khumbu region has sweeping glaciers, magnificent mountains, forests, animals, birds, monasteries and is the home of the world famous Sherpa people. The flora and fauna are other ornaments of the Sagarmatha national park, but the existence of the Yeti remains mysterious.

Annapurna Trek

This is one of the most famous trekking area in Nepal. It starts either from Pokhara. There are rarely a few places in the world with such a splendid variety of natural beauty as that of Annapurna region. It is a rare combination of long arrays of snow capped, mountains, crystal clear lakes, turbulent rivers with deep gorges, Buddhist monasteries, home of famous Gorkha soldiers and other friendly ethnic groups, as well as hot springs and beautiful villages.

Langtang Region

Kanchanjunga Region

Kanchanjanga is third highest peak of the world, one of the most remote and beautiful areas in Nepal which, unused to foreign visitors, still lies shrouded in mystery. The feature of the walk are pleasant villages then in the high regions, glorious mountains and abundant wild life. It is located in the extreme northeast corner of Nepal bordering Sikkim (an Indian state) to the east and China to the North. This includes musk deer, blue sheep and for the believer, the Yeti! This trek begins at Tumlingtar or Taplejung accessible by air, or Ilam or Basantpur accessible by road. Soaring peaks, the Yalung Glacier and a wide variety of natural vegetation and agriculture areas can be seen in this region and magnificent views of Mt. Everest, Makalu and Kanchanjunga massif will make the trip memorable.

Mustang Region

Mustang is a very popular trekking region in Nepal and has been described as “desert in the mountain” The trek to this region is a very rewarding one for those who want to experience the hospitality of the people living in this remote region. Department of immigration issued only a small number of special permit since 1991. This is a perfect destination where ample scope is offered for visiting Buddhists monasteries. This semi autonomous and heavily Tibetan influenced region was “described by Tilman as fascinatingly ugly country, the more fascinating for being so little known” indeed, the trek to LO Manthang is through an almost treeless barren landscape, a steep rocky trail up and down hill, panoramic view of Nilgiri, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and several others peaks make your trek memorable. A liaison officer is needed for this trek. This trek begins from Jomsom – accessible by air, Pokhara – accessible by road or Besisahar – accessible by road (If starting from Besisahar include Annapurna circuit too).

Rolwaling Region

This region lies between LANGTANG range and EVEREST range and the side of both MOUNT LANGTANG and MOUNT EVEREST are the highlights of this trek. The trekkers will be rewarded with the enchanting view of Majestic Mountain GAURI SHANKER. The route is near by the tibet border side so that one can understand a little about Tibetan culture too. This area is mostly used by Buddhist people However, we can also see the Brahmin, Chhetri, Tamang and Sherpa villages and theirs life style. The trek to this region starts from Dolakha, a small township near Charikot, an 8 hours drive from Kathmandu. The trail following the course of RIVER TAMAKOSHI on the way to Simigaun adds more thrills to the trek. The option of crossing Tashi lapcha pass (5755m.) to go to Namche Bazar of Everest region is an adventure of its own kind. In this trail the Glacial Lake Tsho Rolpa offers the experience of lifetime.
